My prposal for this year is improve and do my beast in whatever thing I do! I want to be a better artist
That is why I decide to start with oils.
So I shave some money and this baby come the other day to my house! It's a oil colour box Rembrant Professional.
I always see oils like something amazing beautiful and maybe somewhat laborious and complicated. I'm very wont to "dry-quick" paint as acrylics, so I see oils difficult for me. Many many years ago I had my first experience with them and I remember it was something awesome, but I was very young and apply what for me was great , like a brushstroke, to what I have learned over the years I might prove complicated. But I am encouraged and eager to learn!
I want sooo much to start with them! But meanwhile, I'm still working with acrylics on canvas. I really love acrylics, it gives me security in what I'm doing. But it is time for changes. At least I know if i fail with oils I can return to a home named acrylics. You can see my progress with oils and other projects in my Instagram @ lu_equine_art and Facebook page -> Laura Usero - Equine Art
How was/is your experience with oils? Don't be afraid to tell me!
Have a nice day!
